The darkest of nights came no stars I sat but alone to tend to my scars Alone in my sorrow sadness and shame Left in my doubt, obsessed with my pain Bound by my grief, alone in this night I looked all around, no vision in sight Day after day no light seemed to shine Forever this darkness, frozen in time My back to the ground, my eyes to the sky Clutched by these claws, waiting to die Trapped in this void, sensation had gone Black all around, no hope for the dawn I gazed to the void, my vision stretched far When I first saw it, one lone shinning star It whispered its voice, a beautiful tone Letting me know I was no more alone T

I gave thee life from thy hand and from the page thou did appear a creature calm from distant land summoned to fight all I'd feared. A shape thou art, fair and true and flesh thou hast, pale as the moon darkest eyes as seen by few play for me a lover's tune But who art thou, stranger dark? for failed I have to grant thee a name gentle as a meadow's lark shaped from ink and paint the same Strange it seems, we never spoke and with a hand you pulled me near wrapped me in your lovers cloak and took from me my every fear upon design I did intend to craft a thing that's noble hearted a hero to make my fear

A dark night in the Shadows of the past I am with you I've been with you before I've been with you for so very long Though I hear it calling to me I see you with them I stand aside I step out of reality and no longer exist I stand aside I become nothing more than a watcher You no longer see me. Hidden deep within me So secretly inside myself Hiding somewhere inside myself A face you may never see These words you may never hear. Words so secret A face so masked That throughout time They have been hidden from even myself. Through half open eyes In mornings light Clouded visions fade away Unseen figures, half heard voices All seem but echoes in my mind In one deep breath I am back where I belong The echoes become distant a memory. This ever-growing struggle I've been fighting for so long So close now to the edge Every ounce of strength I use to hang on. I should have known better Than to speak to you. To put forth my presence To shine on you like the sun. I wanted to apologize for my recent spamming of Deviant Art. I have been doing a little cleaning here and there and stumbled upon a stash of my writings Some were old, some were fairly recent, and many of which had never seen by the likes of the DeviantArt crowd. I Sent an angel to watch over you last night, but it came back. I asked why: ... The angel said:"angels don't watch over angels!"
Twenty angels are IN your world. Ten of them are sleeping, nine are playing, One is reading this message. Send this to ten friends including me if I don't get it back then I guess I'm not one of them... as soon as you get five replies someone you love will quietly surprise you..

I very, very rarely indulge in this sort of thing, but, well, I got the message, and it was so nice! And it put me in a good mood for some reason... anyway, it would be a shame were you not to participate, spread the friendship! Let's all feel good!
